First time I’ve rode in a bit, 7 whole days!! It was dry out, for late November, but also nippy cold. But, ahhh… I got a chance to use my new heated jacket. I keep using every opportunity I get to dial in my equipment. I’m finding that when the temps are in the low 40’s, I’m now only getting slightly cold fingers. The heated jacket took care of all the cold seeping in around the edges and causing my core temperature to drop.
My hardcore riding buddy, Adam gave me props for being out there – I only saw two other bikes, and he didn’t see anyone out on his ride home.
The other thing I’m working on is how to use my Sena helmet headset. Today, I figured out how to turn it on and off, how to sync it up on Bluetooth with my phone, how to answer a phone call and how to listen to my music.
All this REALLLLLLY points to how quickly things add up if you’re looking for the next improvements you can make, the next learning opportunities.
Side note – funny that Adam was driving his truck today and I was on my bike, lol.
