A few days ago, I relayed to my riding buddy, Adam, that I’d been reading up on someone who said a 250cc bike could be a touring bike. This had gotten my imagination cranking.… I got to thinking, maybe I’ll just ride Vivie out to Tahoe sometime this year, and then hike the 173 mile Tahoe Rim Trail. He said, simply, “You should.” Complete confidence in me. No hesitation.
Tonight I started playing with the Google Maps – at 2328 miles, riding off-highway, at even just 100 miles/day, that’s only a 24 day trip. Not too bad. At 150 miles = 15 days. That’s doable!
So, I messaged my film producing friend, Mando, about filming the endeavor. Without knowing what the project was, he told me, emphatically, that he’s game!
I’m going to let the idea percolate, sneak up on it, just like I do everything in the Competence-Confidence approach.
