Motorcycle Riding, The End of the Road

Sigh…  today was the end of the road for Viv and I for a while.  It was so hard to do, it was such gorgeous, blue-skied southern kinda day, but it was time to put her up for the winter.

I called the hubby to see what I needed to do to make sure she was taken care of for the new few months – I went and grabbed gas, so I could fill up her tank all the way, and put in some additive, so that the tank wouldn’t begin to rust – always making new distinctions – make them once and you’ve made them for a lifetime!!  I gave her a good scrubbin’, then let her dry the rest of the day before tucking her under her brand new cover.  And, that was about that!!  Pretty simple!

Everything about a new undertaking is about learning how to do new things, and doing them, one after the other, until you have untold amounts of experience under your belt.  And, working through each of them, one baby step at a time, in such an easy-breezy fashion that you hardly even noticed just how far you’ve come so in so little time!

Night night, sweet girl!!
