Motorcycle Riding, Stalled

I went for a ride at 3:00 – I’m not sure that anything new came out of it for me – I felt stalled out on my learning progression today.

I tried to just go with the flow – I went out the ridge, dropped down on the road that had dumped me coming up it, hung a right, rode along the bottom of the ridge for a long way, got into sketchy areas, a BUNCH – that wasn’t fun.  I’m having a difficult time getting myself quickly out into something that feels like the country – there isn’t enough time to get to it – I have to go all the way across town to get there it seems.  Ugh and sigh.

I stalled my bike in front of the guy holding the sign, directing traffic for the tree trimmers along one road I found myself on – I think I was in second, not first gear – he was cute, gave me the international, “give it some gas” gesture – he smiled and waved me through.

I rode some more up on the ridge.  Talked to the hubby while taking a break in the military park to the north.

Rode.  Talked to Adam while riding, then stopped in the military park to the south.  Then, called Chris back on the way home.  Then, Scott hassled me that I didn’t love him anymore – made a funny rhyme – got me laughing – called him and laughed and talked for an hour.  Got an invite from Everett to take his Harley out of mothballs and go riding, to stay with them down in Blue Ridge.  I love my guys!!  They always encourage me to just keep going, progressing towards my very best vision for myself!!
